Back, and a bit lighter too!
Long time no see, I know, but I am back. And am happy to say that I am back a few pounds lighter.
This is a long due update of my stop snacking and get writing challenge.
I've been writing, but many, many different things - therefore the snacking has gone down.
Apart from going nuts on a box popcorn at the cinema the other day, (we watched Taken 2 - loved it) the diet on the whole's been pretty good.

Harry Potter, Twilight, Hunger Games. Then what?
So what’s the next big thing in books and movies for young adults?
Harry Potter
Right, so not that long ago it was Harry Potter. The geeky
underdog kid who’s not that good at magic and whizzes around on a broom –
trying to kill Ralph Fiennes. Seriously, if Harry was the chosen one,
couldn’t he just go ‘abracadabra’ and make all his problems go away, or just
simply go and tell Voldemort to go and ‘you know what’?

How to relieve stress? Write.
There are countless ways of relieving stress but all have
their own limits – apart from writing – the opportunities are endless...

Wedding Planned But Still No Man
There’s absolutely no men on the horizon, but we already
know all the what’s where’s and how’s of the big day. Maybe that’s why there’s
no man in sight.

Emotional Eating Progress
Five days into the 'get lost junk food and stop comfort eating' challenge. So...
I am pleased to say that I have cut out the junk food, meaning no more crisps, sweets, sugary stuff and so on. And, my book, at its very early stage, is beginning to grow which just proves, when you're not nibbling on something (almost twenty four hours a day) you can get quite a lot of stuff done.
Diet wise, I've been better - not buying anything what is categorised as junk food from fast food places. The only fast food place I've been to (that was in London 14/09/2012) was a sushi place but I wanted some and to me sushi seems like a healthy option.
Now, I know I said I was trying to cut down on the snacking but I must say that I still snack. But...its a new sort of snacking for me. Instead of crisps, fatty stuff, bad carbs and stuff loaded with sugar and additives, it's been things like fresh and dried fruit, cold bits of lean meat, nuts and seeds and I've developed a thing for raw cauliflower, don't know why but I think's its harmless.
That's all I have at the moment...
